These are not glorified air conditioners.  Air conditioners are designed for human comfort at 70 degrees and 50% humidity which is not a good environment for your wine investment.  The inherent design of comfort cooling equipment (air conditioners) and the related characteristics of comfort cooling components lend such equipment inappropriate for your wine room requirements.  Most attempts at air conditioining equipment applied to wine room applications result in humidities in excess of 80% relative humidity and require separate dehumidification.  Not only that, comfort cooling equipment applied to wine room applications usually voids the manufacturer's warranty.

(Our) wine room systems are REAL refrigeration systems. They are designed to function during outdoor temperature extremes of 20 degreesF in the winter to 110 degreesF in the summer.  Each application is custom rated for your particular room conditions.
